- Patients arriving more than 5 minutes late may be seen at the end of surgery, at the doctor’s discretion.
- Patients arriving more than 10 minutes late will not be seen and will be asked to re-book their appointment.
- All missed appointments will be recorded in the patient’s medical record, and the patient will be informed accordingly.
- If a patient telephones the practice with a genuine reason for being late, they may still be seen at the discretion of the doctor.
- Late arrivals and missed appointments waste valuable clinical time and resources and may delay care for other patients waiting to be seen.
